At 24, and the second-born in a family of four, she has faced her share of challenges. While pursuing a diploma in library studies, she got pregnant and was unable to convince her education.

Determined to find another path, she joined Mama Jasiri, and everything shifted. She discovered carpentry, a skill many women shy away from, she fell in love with the craft.

Today, Lightness works with confidence, proving to herself and to others, that women can thrive in any space they choose. She isn’t just learning skills, she’s breaking barriers and inspiring others to see strength where the world sees limits.
