The Mama Jasiri Project is a community empowerment initiative dedicated to supporting young people and young mothers through vocational skills, entrepreneurship, confidence building, and economic opportunities.

At the heart of Mama Jasiri is the belief that every handcrafted product tells a story of hope, strength, and transformation. The project provides training and mentorship to young people and young mothers, enabling them to create high-quality, eco-friendly, and culturally inspired products that carry both function and meaning Mama Jasiri is more than a project; it is a movement of women shaping their future with every thread, bead, and beam of light.

All of our products are handmade using sisal, steel, and wood. Most of these materials are locally sourced.

Why Buying from Us?

20% of each sale goes back to the girls to improve their income and well-being. Another 25% goes toward training other young people and young mothers.

We encourage customers to buy our products. By doing so, they support young women and young mothers in achieving financial stability.
